Age alone doesn't make a website outdated. These five questions help you decide.
1. Does it still reflect your offer?
When services, audiences or positioning change, your website needs to keep up. Visitors shouldn't have to wait for a conversation to discover what you actually offer today.
2. Is it easy to use on mobile?
Tiny links, clipped text and frustrating mobile forms are concrete reasons to make improvements. Try the main contact journey yourself on a small screen.
3. Can visitors find the next step?
Every important page needs a clear purpose. If contact, services or bookings take too many detours to find, review the structure.
4. Is maintenance harder than it should be?
If every text change causes problems or technical errors keep returning, take stock. A complete rebuild isn't always necessary; a focused improvement may be enough.
5. Is there a plan for the move?
Back up content, document important URLs and plan redirects before replacing the old website. A redesign is complete only when the new site and its main contact journeys have been checked.
