HUNGRY GUESTS DON'T WANT TO SEARCH.

What a restaurant website needs to do — and why a photo of the menu is rarely the best answer.

Put the important information first

Are you open today? What's on the menu? How do I book? Someone searching for a restaurant on their phone should find these answers quickly. Beautiful images help, but they can't replace clear information.

A menu people can read

A photograph of a printed menu is quick to upload but often awkward on a small screen. A text-based menu is easier to enlarge, read and keep current. Keep prices and relevant details up to date too.

Reservations that fit the restaurant

Not every restaurant needs a large booking system. A clear phone number or simple enquiry can be enough. If you use a system, it needs to fit your table planning, confirmations and daily workflow.

Show the atmosphere with real photographs

Show your space and what's on the plate. A few current, carefully selected photographs say more than a large, generic gallery.
